Mrs. Ruby Denney Foster, age 82, of Crestwood Village, Frederick, MD, died Tuesday night, September 29, 2009 at Margate Health & Rehab Center in Jefferson, NC. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2009 at 10:00am at Rockland Cemetery in Front Royal, VA with Rev. Christof Weber officiating. Born June 15, 1927 in Mountain City, TN, she was the daughter of the late Jessie and Rettie Wiles Denney. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Cleveland Foster on October 29, 1990, two sisters, Mary Greer and Ruth Weaver; one brother, Gene Denney. She is survived by two daughters, Joan M. Kennan, of Paw Paw, WV and Julie V. Conway, of Frederick, MD; a son, Jack E. Foster of Boonsboro, MD; two sisters, Sue Friley and Juanita Little, both of Jefferson; three brothers, Bob Denney, of Zionville, NC, Joe Denney of Smyrna, GA and Bruce Denney of Seaford, DE; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; four great, great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.
