Mr. Henry Wayne Bledsoe, better known as "Wayne" age 62, of Todd passed away Saturday, October 19, 2019 at his home. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 from 6:00-8:00pm at Boone Family Funeral Home. Mr. Bledsoe was born in Ashe County to Sonny Henry Bledsoe and the late Rena Mae Houck Bledsoe. He worked at a sawmill. Wayne enjoyed bowling, reading Stephen Kings novels and dirt track car races. He was also preceded in death by a sister Joann Watson and a great-grandchild, Rowan Earl Angel Bledsoe. Mr. Bledsoe is survived by: three daughters, Dolly Goodman and husband, Robert, of West Jefferson, Rena Perez and husband, Donald, of Todd and Cindy Bledsoe, of Daytona, Florida; a son, Everette Bledsoe, better known as "Bubba" and wife, Felicia, of Crumpler; his father, Sonny Bledsoe, of Todd; two brothers, Ricky Bledsoe and wife Juanita, of Todd and Billy Bledsoe, of Todd; two sisters, Barbara Main and husband, Billy, of West Jefferson and Tina Bledsoe, of Sherrills Ford, NC; ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews also survive. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family, c/o Boone Family Funeral Home, PO Box 786, West Jefferson, NC 28694. The family will be meeting at the home of Sonny Bledsoe on three Top Road in Todd.
