Obituary of James Clifford Little

Mr. James Clifford Little, age 93, of Crumpler passed away Monday night, November 11, 2019.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 15, 2019 at 2pm at Boone Family Funeral Home with Rev. Lonnie Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Senter Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with military rites.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 12-2pm at Boone Family Funeral Home.

Mr. Little was born in Ashe County on November 1, 1926 to the late James Otto and Susie Absher Little. He served in the United States Army during world War II. He worked at the Skyland Post; he ran the printing press for cards and invitations. Clifford also enjoyed working in his cattle and gardening; he took a lot of pride in both. Clifford was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and will be greatly missed by all.

He was also preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle Miller Little; a sister, Asleen McNeill.

Mr. Little is survived by: two daughters, Susan Boone and husband, Rick,    of Winston Salem and Sandy Addison and husband, Roger, of Crumpler; three grandchildren, Alex Addison and wife, Christie, of Laurel Springs, Tyler Boone, of Kernersville and Paige Boone, of Winston-Salem; several nieces and nephews also survive.
