Ashe county has lost a great man, a loving father and a great American Veteran. Anyone that knew Bob knows that he was a friend to all. For me, I have lost a wonderful friend and a brother. I do not grieve for him. All his pain and sufferings are gone and he is happy and healthy as never before. I hurt for the family and friends left behind. A huge void has opened up in our hearts that only time and the great memories can fill. As for me, I am a better man for knowing Bob and for that I am eternally grateful!!
