Obituary of Janie Rachelle Billinger

Mrs. Janie Rachelle Blevins Richards Billinger, age 71 of Lenoir, passed away Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Caldwell Memorial Hospital.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Billinger was born in Ashe County on August 15, 1948 to the late Guiles and Albetine Walker Blevins. Janie enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and also cooking and crafts with her grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and will be missed by all.

She was also preceded in death by her first husband; Kyle Richards.

Mrs. Billinger is survived by: her husband, Jerome Billinger, one son; Scott Richards and wife Angela of Ferguson, NC, one daughter; Kyla Kerr and husband Logan of Wilkesboro, two step-daughters; Renee Billinger of Wichita, KS, and Christine and husband Brian Wirkel of Glen Elder, KS, one step-son; Robert Billinger of Lawrence, KS, one sister; Cathy Hardy of West Jefferson, five grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren, five step great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also survive.
