Mr. Christopher Scott Neal, age 35, of Hendersonville, formerly of Ashe County passed away Monday, December 16, 2019 in Asheville. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 2:00pm at Mt. Paddy Church with Rev. Tim Roten officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30-2:00pm on Saturday; prior to the memorial service. Mr. Neal was born in Baltimore, Maryland on October 2, 1984 to the late Harold Grant Neal and Debra Marie Absher. He attended Ashe County High School and was a member of the ACHS marching band; where he played the drums. Mr. Neal is survived by: his mother and step father, Debbie Absher and Lenny Sheets, of Wilkesboro; a brother, Kevin Neal, of Boone; his grandmother, Donna Neal, of Jefferson; several nieces and nephews also survive.
