Mr. Toby Lee Holman, age 66, of West Jefferson passed away Sunday morning, December 22, 2019 at Ashe Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 26, 2019 at 12:30pm at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. J.D. Walton officiating. Burial will follow in the Howell Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00-12:30pm on Thursday, December 26, 2019; prior to the funeral service. Mr. Holman was born in Ashe county on February 14, 1953 to the late Avery Andy and Ivalee Howell Holman. Toby enjoyed collecting car and loose change; also watching "Dukes of Hazard". He loved to walk and visit his neighbors; just a kid at heart. Mr. Holman is survived by: four sisters, Esther Hopkins, of West Jefferson, Phyllis Phillips and husband, Clayton, of Fleetwood, Brenda Lyall and companion, Walt Bringman, of West Jefferson and Tammy Burgess and husband, Ricky, of Jefferson; several nieces and nephews also survive.
