I only knew Chris a few months but what I do know of him is he loved his family. He had a big smile every time I seen him. He had a big heart. One of the finest men I ever met. I only knew Chris from a facebook post that was answered by my wife. I had the pleasure of meeting this great guy in person. I lent him a helping hand when he was in need. He was a great man that I only knew a short time. In the short time that I knew him he was always concerned about his kids and April, he told me everything about your April and the kids and what he was trying to do for all you guys. I was so amazed with the talk we had. He loved you guys unconditionally and you guys was the best thing for him. We joked often about everything. I just wished this wasnt so sudden. Chris was a man of his word. Last time I spoke to him I told him " Love Ya Brother." He replied back with the same phrase. Gonna miss ya brother, when I head back to Ashe County I will go by and check on April and the kids. Until we meet again brother, Rest High on that Mountain.. Love Always My brother Brian.
