Obituary of Blaine Winebarger

Mr. Thomas Blaine Winebarger, better known as Blaine, age 67, of Fleetwood, died Saturday night, October 10, 2009 at Watauga Medical Center. Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at 2pm at Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Glenn Woodie, Rev. Guy Testerman and Rev. Nathan Caparolie officiating. The family will receive friends following the graveside service in Mt. Olive Baptist Church fellowship building. Mr. Winebarger was born on Saturday, December 8, 1941 to the late Walter Marvin and Pansy Belle Lyalls Winebarger. He was the owner and operator of Midtown Amoco Service Station. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Wilma Grogan; two brothers, Perry Winebarger and Wade Winebarger. He is survived by his wife, Ann Howell Winebarger; two sons, Bart Winebarger, of Fleetwood and Brett Winebarger and wife, Carol, of Fleetwood; a daughter, Sherry Houck and husband, John, of Boone; four brothers, Bennie Winebarger, of Fleetwood, Donnie Winebarger and wife, Carol; of West Jefferson, Danny Winebarger and wife, Judy, of West Jefferson and Carl Winebarger of West Jefferson; a sister, Thelma DuVall of West Jefferson; four grandchildren; a great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews also survive.
