Mr. Rhondle Carlton Day, better known as "Stud" age 59, of West Jefferson passed away Sunday at his home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 24, 2020 at 7pm at Boone Family Funeral Home. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the funeral services. Mr. Day was born in Ashe County on July 4, 1960 to the late Rhondle and Ila Richardson Day. Stud enjoyed fishing, hunting, and reading western novels. He was a New York Yankees and Dallas Cowboys fan. He is survived by two sons; Joshua Day of Jefferson, and Kaleb Day of West Jefferson, three daughters; Amanda Day of West Jefferson, Seirra Day of Jefferson, and Angela Day of Taylorsville, two brothers; Curt Day of Laurel Springs, and Steve Day and wife Anissa of Crumpler, four grandchildren; Chloe Carpenter, Sophia Carpenter, Mason Carpenter, and Desmond Day, one expected grandson; Wyatt Bullis, several nieces and nephews also survive.
