Mrs. Phyllis Ann Cullum McCraw, age 76, of West Jefferson passed away Sunday morning, January 19, 2020 at her home. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 11:00am at Bald Mountain Baptist Church with Rev. John Elledge officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00am on Saturday; one hour prior to the memorial service at the church. Mrs. McCraw was born in Churchville, Maryland on December 2, 1943 to the late William and Bessie Cullum. She worked as a sewing machine operator. She enjoyed coloring in adult coloring book and working crossword puzzles. She was also preceded in death an infant daughter; a son, Tim Taylor; a brother, Henry Cullum; a sister, Margaret Brinegar. Mrs. McCraw was survived by: her husband, Gerald McCraw; a daughter, Cathy Miller and husband, Swader, of West Jefferson; a brother, William Cullum, of Baltimore, MD; a sister, Patsy Cullum, of Maryland; a grandson, Tate Miller, of West Jefferson; several nieces and nephews also survive.
