Mr. Carroll Lee Hubbard, better known as “Buster” age 77, of West Jefferson passed away Sunday morning, February 23, 2020 at his home. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at 7:00pm at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lloyd Day officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:00pm on Thursday, February 27, 2020; one hour prior to the memorial service. Mr. Hubbard was born in Hickory, NC on August 3, 1942 to the late Fred and Bessie Hubbard. He was self-employed. He was a kind and giving me; he will be missed by all. He is survived by: lifelong companion, Wanda South; a son, Jerry Hubbard, of Hickory; three daughters, Jennifer Hubbard, of Hickory, Sandy Oliver, of Virginia and Leshia Hubbard, of Hickory; a brother, J.T. Hubbard and wife Judy of Hickory; two sisters, Jeannette Hyler and Deloris Buff both of Hickory; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family requests no flowers please!
