Mr. Julian Randall Stanford, age 56, of West Jefferson passed away Monday night, March 9, 2020 at Wilkes Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at 1pm at Boone Family Funeral Home with Rev. Steve LeaShomb officiating. Burial will follow in the Midway Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 11-1pm at Boone Family Funeral Home. Mr. Stanford was born in Atlanta, GA on April 20, 1963 to Wilburn and Lillie Wilkerson Stanford. Julian loved living in the mountains and hot rod cars. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and will be missed by all. Julian is survived by his wife; Tammy Stanford, one son; Julian Randall “Jay” Stanford, Jr. of West Jefferson, his mother; Lillie Stanford of Sylvester, GA, two brothers; Mark Stanford of Columbus, GA and Doug Stanford of Cordele, GA, one sister; Carol McLean and husband Fred of Sylvester, GA, and several nieces and nephews also survive.
