Mrs. Carolyn Anne Wilson, age 38, of Lenoir, formally of Ashe County, passed away Friday evening, September 26, 2008 at Caldwell Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2008 at 2pm at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor J.B. Shelton officiating. Burial will follow in the Ashelawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00pm on Thursday, prior to the funeral service. Mrs. Wilson was born in Elkton, Maryland on Saturday, August 29, 1970 to the late Woodrow Wilson Ward and Francis Ardnia Forrester. She worked at Watauga Medical Center as a LPN nurse. She is survived by a daughter, Kelsey Wilson of Lenoir; her mother, Francis Wilkens of Crumpler; two brothers, Jeff Ward of Jefferson and Darrell Wilkens of West Jefferson; four half brothers, Michael Permenter, Randy Permenter, Warren Permenter and Gary Permenter all of Maryland; several nieces & nephews also survive.
