Rev. Joshua Bruce Eller Sr., age 85, of Warrensville passed away Friday, October 16, 2009 at the Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at the Phoenix Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Dollar and Rev. Max Weaver officiating. Burial will follow in the Eller Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, October 19, 2009 at 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Eller was born in Ashe County on Wednesday, July, 16, 1924 to the late David Guy and Ethel Graybeal Eller. He is survived by his wife Lorraine Powers Eller of the Home; one son, Charles Eller and wife Betty of West Jefferson; two grandsons, David Eller and wife Crystal, Randy Eller of Warrensville; two great-grandsons, Stephen Eller of Warrensville, Cailey Eller of Warrensville; several nieces and nephews also survive. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Willadean Richardson Eller and a son, J.B.
