Mrs. Josephine Parsons McGuire, age 75, of Warrensville passed away Sunday morning at Forsyth Medical Center. Due to the current restriction the family will be holding private services. The family will be at the homeplace on Tuesday from 1-6pm, 430 BC Hunter Road, Warrensville, NC 28693. Mrs. McGuire was born in Ashe County on May 4, 1944 to the late Paul and Blanche Miller Parsons. Josephine was a member at Oak Grove Baptist Church. She worked at Sara Lee and Jefferson Apparel. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and will be missed by all. Mrs. McGuire is preceded in death by her husband; James Wilbur McGuire, a son; John Wilbur McGuire, and a sister; Geraldine Maye. Josephine is survived by one daughter; Nancy Ann Worley and husband Joe of Todd, one sister; Maxine Maye and husband Benny of Warrensville, two grandchildren; Noah and Brooklyn Worley, and several nieces and nephews also survive. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: Oak Grove Baptist Church or Blackburn’s Tabernacle Church.
