Mr. Ricky Carroll Greer, age 37, of Creston passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at his home. Graveside services will be held on Sunday, July 12, 2020 at 2:30pm at Greer-Bentley Cemetery with Pastor Chuck Call and Pastor Billy Owens officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 12-2pm at Boone Family Funeral Home. Due to Gov. Cooper we ask that you wear a mask and only allow 10 people in building at a time for the visitation. Mr. Greer was born in Ashe County on March 20, 1983. Ricky enjoyed working on cars and mowing lawns. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Wilda Penley and maternal grandparents Hoover and Betty Woodard. Ricky is survived by the light of his life, his daughter; Lilly Mae Greer and her mother, Savannah Greer, of Lansing, his father; Bobby Greer and wife Terry of Fleetwood, his mother; Linda Greer of Crumpler, one brother; Jamie Greer and wife Lindsey of Todd, and several nieces and nephews also survive.
