Mrs. Kathryn Marie Foster Jones, age 61, of West Jefferson passed away Tuesday morning, August 25, 2020 at her home. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Mrs. Jones was born in Statesville, NC on Janaury28, 1959 to the late Francis Donald and Betty Jean Kernes Foster. She always worked as a caregiver. Mrs. Jones is survived by: her husband, Amos Dee Jones; a sister, Cecile Stanley, of Wilkesboro; a half-sister, Marie Welborn of Lenoir; several nieces and nephews also survive.
