Mr. Robert Paige Bare, better known as "Pap's" age 68, of Jefferson, passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at his residence. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2009 at 1pm at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Lovelace and Elder Floyd South officiating. Burial will follow in the Bare Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00pm on Friday, October 30, 2009 at Boone Family Funeral Home. Mr. Bare was born in Wilkes County on Tuesday, August 5, 1941 to the late Guy Richard Bare and Virginia Sheets Bare. He was the owner of Bare Cable Company. He is survived by his wife, Linda Sue Wyatt Bare; a son, Mitchell Bare and wife, Diane, of Crumpler; three daughters, Cindy Palmer and husband, Don, of Belize, Central America, Sheri Shepherd and husband, Curtis, of West Jefferson and Susie Lewis, of Jefferson; his mother, Virginia Bare, of Laurel Springs; a brother, Richard Bare and wife, Gaye, of Laurel Springs; two sisters, Jean Miller and husband, Herman, of Greensboro and Betty Rich and husband, Donald, of Asheboro; seventeen grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.
