Mrs. Lorean Hugh Hick McGuire, age 80, of Crumpler passed away Thursday night, September 17, 2020 at Ashe Memorial Hospital. Graveside services will be held on Monday, September 21, 2020 at 2pm at Big Flatts Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Galvin Jones officiating. Mrs. McGuire was born in Dixon, VA on November 8, 1939 to the late Ransom and Dollie Greer Hicks. She is preceded in death by a daughter, Billy Sue Maines and a brother, Earnest Hicks. She is survived by two daughters; Ruby Billings of West Jefferson and Sherry Terjo of West Jefferson, three sons; Junior McGuire and wife Debbie of West Jefferson, Greg McGuire and wife Mary of West Jefferson, and Wayne McGuire and wife Carolyn of Harmony, one brother; Gene Hicks of TN, ten grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also survive.
