Mrs. Sharon Matthews Suttle, age 75, of Lansing passed away Friday morning, September 25,2020 at her home. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at 2:00pm at Woodlawn Cemetery in Blowing Rock. Mrs. Suttle was born in Ashe County on October 1, 1944 to the late Ben and Jackie Patton Matthews. She retired from Ashe County Social Services. She had two dogs, that she loved dearly, Katy and Gizmo. She was a loving mother and grandmother; she will be greatly missed. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Robert Suttle; a brother, Monty Matthews. Mrs. Suttle is survived by: three daughters, Janna Suttle, of Lansing, Dana Harman, of Easley, SC and Rhonda Suttle, of Lansing; a sister, Peggy Charer, of Suffolk, VA; four grandchildren Josephine Suttle, Ethan Ham, Ashlyn Barker and Jake Harman; two great-grandchildren Alora Barker and Finley Barker; several nieces and nephews also survive.
