What a sweet, sweet lady. As a child, I remember her fixing my moms (Mary Vaughn) hair. Then she started cutting my hair. She would kid me about putting in a perm or coloring it some wild color just to get a laugh out of me. She always had a smile and was a joy to be around. The world was a better place because of her. She will be missed.

Dear Family, Butch and I have so many special memories of Annie Clyde. She was a sweet, kind and special friend to us. We will always have a special place in our hearts for her and share with others the love and kindness with others that she gave us. She was truly one of a kind and we will miss her so much. She was so proud of her family and love you all so much. She always came to church with a smile on her face, a love in her heart, greeting each and everyone one all dressed to a T with Bill the same way! She spoke of Michael, Robin, Billie and Ken and all the girls with love and pride. She was always so excited to tell of each one’s accomplishments, weddings, and oh my can’t even describe her pride and excitement over the grands and the great grands. She was so happy to show off those new ones in her photo books. Annie Clyde always had a special words for her clients and a story behind each gift she was given by all her clients friends and family. I loved her family stories growing up in a very loving family. We just don’t do it like they did it back then, I learned so much from her! She loved the church and was always there to help at every event. Just 5 years ago she and Bill help with a fundraiser at church adding a special touch dresses as Mr. Hotdog and Mrs. Mustard they were so cute and precious. I know she missed coming when she left she was no longer able to come to church. We missed her too we still miss Annie Clyde and Bill ! But she always ask about church and ask for Literature and Bulletins and kept up with what was going on. A dedicated faithful Christian lady and church attendee all her life! Just loved Annie Clyde so much and I know that all of you have a emptiness now that will never be filled. What a legacy she has left for you though. All our love thoughts and prayers for each one of you today and always. We will always remember and love Annie Clyde. We are so happy she is at peace and herself in heaven with family and friends I can just see her now! Butch and Deb

Dear Gentry family.
I often heard the name "Annie Clyde" when I was growing up so I knew she was important to my parents. Later, I'd see her at the drugstore and she'd always ask about them. She was so friendly and kind and had that twinkle-eyed smile. I remember she came to see my father when he was declining and brought him "reindeer chow".. I will miss her and remember her!
Another precious soldier of the Greatest Generation has fallen. I admire and miss them so much and wonder how we will do without them.
I hope that happy memories will bring you peace. She was so proud of you all!

Dear Gentry family, I am so sorry for the loss of Annie Clyde. She was truly one of a kind. I can not think of Mission Home Baptist Church without remembering all of her loving contributions, preparing and serving food on special occasions ( not to mention VBS), placing her beautiful home grown flowers at the altar, assisting Santa as Mrs. Claus, her faithfulness (definitely missed when she wasn’t sitting in front of me & Jim) . In honoring and serving her Lord and savior, she was a blessing to us and now she is reaping her rewards. Love to all. Shirley Gentry.
