Mrs. Bula Mae Taylor Rash, age 86, of Todd passed away Tuesday night, October 20, 2020 at Watauga Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 23, 2020 at 2pm at Boone Family Funeral Home with Rev. Mitchell Mash and Rev. Frankie Rash officiating. Burial will follow in the Rash Cemetery. The body will lie in state from 1-2pm on Friday at Boone Family Funeral Home, facemask are appreciated. Mrs. Rash was born in Ashe County on May 28, 1934 to the late Bruce and Lula Howell Taylor. She retired from Sara Lee Knitting Products. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Carl Rash; a daughter; Sharon Rash, a son; Carroll Taylor, and several siblings. Mrs. Rash is survived by: four sons, Tony Rash and wife, Reba, of Todd, Randall Rash and wife, Valerie, of Zionville, Terry Rash, of Todd and Doug Rash of West Jefferson; two daughters, Debbie Miller and husband, Mike, of Creston and Roxanne Hawk and husband, Terry Hawk, of West Jefferson; a brother, Bob Taylor and wife, Marie, of Laurel Bloomery, TN; four sisters, Ruth Lipford, of Yadkinville, Virginia Ackerman, of West Jefferson, Myrtle Testerman and husband, Bill, of Maryland and Ginger Woods, of West Jefferson; eleven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; one great, great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.
