Rev. Ronald Avery Miller, better known as "Ronnie" age 65, of Lenoir, formerly of Ashe County passed away Monday morning at his home. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at 3:00 pm at Foster Mash Cemetery. The body will lie in state on Friday, November 13, 2020 from 5:00-7:00pm at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel. The family does request you to wear masks and to social distance yourself from others. Rev. Miller was born in Roseville, Ohio on February 16, 1955 to the late Avery and Grace Hart Miller. He worked as a truck driver. He also served as a minister at several church in Ashe County; Bethel Baptist Church and Sugar Grove Baptist Church. He loved the Lord and his family. He will be missed by all. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Ricky Miller. Rev. Miller is survived by: a daughter, Stephanie Rhoten and husband, David, of Charleston, SC; three brothers, Tom Miller, of Grassy Creek, Terry Miller, of Ohio and Jeff Miller and wife, Barbara, of Jefferson; a sister, Peggy Money, of Lenoir; several nieces and nephews also survive.
