Mrs. Carmen Maxine Blevins McNeill, age 71, of West Jefferson passed away Friday, November 13, 2020 at Novant Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, NC. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at 1PM at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Lawrence Goodman and Pastor Tommy Dollar officiating. Mrs. McNeill was born in Ashe County on July 18, 1949 to the late Edward and Cary Mae Blevins. She enjoyed creating flower arrangements, arts and crafts, and baking wonderful cakes. She was a loving and devout wife, mother, and grandmother and will be missed by all. She was preceded in death by her son; Tanner McNeill. Mrs. McNeill is survived by her husband; Jerry McNeill of West Jefferson. Two sons; Ryan McNeill and wife Melanie of San Antonio TX, and Trent McNeill and wife Shelley of West Jefferson, two sisters; Joan Sheets of Sparta, and Angela Severt of Jefferson, six grandchildren; Madelyn, Noah, Owen, Caelon, Carson, and Colton McNeill, and several nieces and nephews also survive.
