Mr. James Edward Hampton, better known as "Jim" age 86, of West Jefferson passed away Sunday morning, November 29, 2020 at Margate Health & Rehab Center. A memorial service will be held at a later date Mr. Hampton was born in McKeesport, PA on November 23, 1934 to the late Guy Wesley and Julia McClellan Hampton. He worked in a warehouse as a fork lift driver. He was a loving father and will be deeply missed. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Dolores Korap Hampton on June 4, 2019. Mr. Hampton is survived by: a daughter, Michelle Blevins and husband, Jody, of West Jefferson; two sons, Jim Hampton and wife, Sue, of Ormond Beach, FL and Scott Hampton, of Locust Grove, VA; three grandsons, Bradley James Hampton, Trevor Hampton and Nash Hampton, all of Virginia; several nieces and nephews also survive.
