Mrs. Shelby Jean Roten Eastridge, age 80, of Warrensville, passed away Wednesday morning, February 17, 2021 at her residence. Private graveside services will be held in the Brown Cemetery with Rev. Tommy Dollar and Rev. Jeff Dollar officiating. Mrs. Eastridge was born in Ashe County on February 16, 1941 to the late Theodore and Thelma Thompson Roten. Shelby was owner and operator at Shelby's Restaurant in Warrensville. She also enjoyed painting pictures. She was a loving wife, mother, and will be missed by all. Shelby is survived by her husband; Jack Eastridge, one son; Jim Eastridge and wife Lori of Jefferson, one brother; Jerry Roten and wife Margie of West Jefferson, one step granddaughter; Courtney Miller and husband Eric, four step great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ashe County Cancer Fund, PO Box 431, Jefferson, NC 28640.
