James Micheal Alley “Jake Brake”,38, was taken too soon in a tragic accident on February 15, 2021 with his brother Joshua Alley. He was born January 22, 1983 to James L.W. Alley and Catherine Alley Zsolczai. At a young age, he fell in love with anything that had a motor on it, especially 18 wheelers. He had a fascination with the sound of a “Jake Brake” because of his father’s love of driving trucks. He was surrounded by truck drivers all his life which enhanced his knowledge and skills. The nickname of “Jake Brake” stuck. He loved his family dearly and strived to be the best dad ever. To his fiancé and future mother-in-law Katherine Amy he was the “Best Dad Ever”. His sisters enjoyed spending time with him and their long conversation about everything and anything. He was an avid Carolina Panthers fan and Georgia Bulldogs fan. He worked for Pittman Trucking in Newland, NC. Not many kids get to grow up and be in the profession that they always loved, but Jake sure did. He is survived by his fiancé and the love of his life, Kimberly Marshall, his sons Kameron, Gatade, Adam and his daughter Leilani. His sisters Crtista Sunderland, Brandy Alley and Camille Alley. His mother Catherine Alley Zsolczai. His aunts Sharon Gustafson ”Sissy”, Angela Lamb, Linda Townsend, Jo Lee, Jackie Fardoulis, and Tammy Zsolczai. His nieces Kayla McCall, Caylii, Collins. His nephews Tyler McCall, Bryce and Easton. His great niece Mia and great nephew Gavin. His uncles Anthony Fardoulis, Ronnie Gustafson, Eddie Lamb and Terry Smith. And numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his father James L.W. Alley and his stepfather Gary Zsolczai.
