Mr. Michael Vance Lemly, age 66, of Fleetwood passed away Friday morning, March 19, 2021 at his residence. Memorial services will be held at a late date. Michael was born in Ashe County on April 15, 1954 to the late Paul and Evelene Church Lemly. He is preceded in death by a brother; Ronnie Lemly. Michael was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and will be missed by all. He is survived by his wife; Kathy Lemly, two daughters; Michelle “Missie” Elliott and husband Mark of North Wilkesboro, and Ashley Jewell and husband Marty “Ray” of West Jefferson, one brother; Timothy Lemly of Todd, three sisters; Phyllis Holdaway of Fleetwood, Elizabeth Byland and husband Kenny of Todd, and Charlene Barnes and husband Allan of Lenoir, four grandchildren; Hannah Elliott, Katie Elliott, Paul Jewell, and Jeremiah Jewell, several nieces and nephews also survived.
