Mr. Harold Jones, age 64, of Creston, the Pond Mountain Community, went home to be with the Lord Saturday evening at Watauga Medical Center in Boone. Funeral services will be held Tueday at 2:00 P.M. at Mountain View Baptist Church with Rev. Denton Hart, Rev. Eddie Lewis, and Rev. Russell Sheets officiating. Burial will follow in the Ashelawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 7:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at the Boone family Funeral Home Chapel. Harold was born in Ashe County, North Carolina on May 22, 1945 to the late Smith and Annie Ruth Turner Jones Mr. Jones is survived by his wife Juanita Baugess Jones of the home; Two sons, Greg Jones and wife Melanie of Lansing, Steven Jones of Creston, the pond mountain community; One daughter, Tammy Hartsoe and husband Randy of Creston, the pond mountain community; Five Brothers, Delmer Jones of Warrensville, Bill Jones of Tennessee, Walter Jones of Warrensville, Danny Jones of Virginia, and Ronnie Jones of Tennessee; One sister Martha Weaver of Warrensville.
