Mr. Carey Joe Johnson, age 60, of Winston-Salem, formerly of Ashe County passed away Saturday from an auto accident in Winston-Salem. Graveside service will be held on Monday, May 10, 2021 at 2:00pm at West Jefferson City Cemetery with Pastor Ronnie Harrison officiating. Mr. Johnson was born on September 11, 1960 to Bobby Joe Johnson and Barbara Ann Lambert. Mr. Johnson is survived by: a son, Greg Johnson, of Crumpler; his father, Bob Johnson, of West Jefferson; his mother, Barbara Ann Lambert, of Yadkinville; several cousins also survive.
