Mrs. Lois Mae Phillips Greer, age 92, of Lansing passed away Monday, June 7, 2021 evening at Ashe Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 11, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Boone Family Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Shepherd officiating. Burial will follow in the Miller Roland Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral services on Friday, June, 11, 2021. Mrs. Greer was born in Ashe County to the late Harrison and Bessie Farmer Phillips. Lois’s life was devoted to her family and caring for them. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, canning, and her flowers. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed by all. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul Greer, two sons, Jerry and Dean Greer, seven brothers, and one sister. She is survived by one son; Everette “June” Hamm of Creston, one daughter; Sandra “Sis” Miller and husband Tuck of Warrensville, three sisters; Delphia “Ruby” Ham of Lansing, Jane Farmer of Grassy Creek, and Shirley Bauguess of Lansing, five grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also survive.
