Mrs. Arbutus Rash Osborne, age 81, of North Wilkesboro, formerly of Creston, passed away Monday, September 29, 2008 at Villages of Wilkes. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 3, 2008 at 2pm at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Darrell Graybeal officiating. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00pm on Thursday, October 2, 2008 at Boone Family Funeral Home. Mrs. Osborne was born in Ashe County on March 3, 1927 to the late Wiley Patton Rash and Sally Emma Daugherty Rash. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Ronda Osborne; a son, Arthur David Campbell; two brothers, Thomas Rash and Lee Houck, Jr. She is survived by a son, Pat Campbell, of Ashburn, Virginia; a daughter, Sally Pridgen and husband, John, of North Wilkesboro; a sister, Carolyn Farmer and husband, Babe, of Creston; five grandchildren, Melissa Campbell, Clarissa Campbell, Miranda Campbell, Bailey Pridgen and Bryan Pridgen; five Great-Grandchildren, Avery Campbell, Noah Campbell, Aidan Williams, Ivy Quinn Pearson and Kelsey Pearson; several nieces and nephews also survive.
