Mrs. Dorothy Ann Roberts Miller, age 65, of Warrensville, died Monday morning, December 7, 2009 at Ashe Memorial Hospital. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at 11:00am at Warrensville United Methodist Church with Rev. Gregg Plott officiating. Mrs. Miller was born in Johnson County on Saturday, September 2, 1944 to the late Clyde and Ella Mae Roberts. She was a C.N.A. She is a member at Doe Valley Baptist Church and attended Warrensville United Methodist Church for many years. She is survived by her husband, Harold D. Miller, of the home; a son, Brandon Miller and wife, Robin, of Warrensville; a brother, Johnny Roberts, of Mountain City, TN; three sisters, Eva Horne of Mountain City, TN, Peggy Hawkins of Mountain City, TN and Lois Wilson of Mountain City, TN; a step grandson, Wesley Barker; several nieces and nephews also survive. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: Ashe County Animal Shelter, 767 Fred Pugh Road, Crumpler, NC 28617. The family will be meeting at the home Brandon and Robin Miller at 319 Northwest School Road in Warrensville.
