Mr. Gary Lee Morrison, age 55, of Warrensville, passed away Monday, December 28, 2009 at his home. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2010 at 2pm at First Baptist Church in West Jefferson with Rev. Michael Lea and Rev. Ken Morris officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-2pm on Saturday, one hour prior to the funeral service at the church. Mr. Morrison was born in South Carolina to the late Harold and Mable Honeycutt Morrison. He served in the United States Marine Corp during Vietnam. He was a Construction Worker. He was preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Rigdon. He is survived by his wife, Ann Schweitzer Morrison; two daughters, Megan Collins and husband, Derek, of Warrensville and Whitney Dodd, of Jefferson; two brothers, Lynn Morrison and wife Wanda, of Indianapolis, IN and Sid Morrison and wife, Cindy, of Indianapolis, IN; two sisters, Patricia Morrison of Indianapolis, IN and Karen Olsen and husband, Jimmy, of Indianapolis, IN; a grandson, Brayden Sidbury, also known as Lonnie, of Warrensville; several nieces and nephews also survive.
