Obituary of John G. Ashley

Mr. John G. Ashley age 85, of West Jefferson passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at his home. A private service will be held at a later date. Mr. Ashley was born in Ashe County on June 25, 1924 to the late Avery and Agnes Ashley. He is survived by his wife, Irene Shepherd Ashley; a daughter, Vickie Milam and husband, Thomas, of Fleetwood; a granddaughter, Stephanie Milam also survive.
