Steve as my cousin and best friend. We went to school together, played together, laughed together, and cried together. We supported each other in victories and defeats and were there for each other through our parents' illnesses and he was there for me with open arms and support when my parents passed away. We have shared our children's achievements and failures as well as our own.
I will miss his smiling face, laughter, wit, and charm. He once told me "My riches are not on Earth, My riches are in Heaven!" Therefore, I am assured that when my heart is so broken from his absence that it is for myself and my loss of his presence that I grieve. I will miss him so much!!!
