Mrs. Ellen Lavina Gundrum Hass, age 85, of Segraves Nursing Care Center, died Friday morning, February 12, 2010 at Ashe Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 14, 2010 at 2:00pm at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Darrell Graybeal officiating. Burial will be held on Thursday, February 18, 2010 at 10:00am at Grandview Memorial Park in Annville, PA. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00pm on Sunday, one hour prior to the funeral service at Boone Family Funeral Home. A second funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at 4:00pm at Kreamer Funeral Home in Annville, PA. Mrs. Hass was born in Rexmount, PA on Tuesday, September 9, 1924 to the late Harry J. and Mable Brenner Gundrum. She was a sewing machine operator. She was also preceded in death by her husband, George William Hass; a son, William David Hass and a granddaughter, Deanna Guy. She is survived by a son, Barry Hass, of Creston; three daughters, Judy Hartsoe and husband, Robert, of Creston, Bonnie Mershon and husband, Tom, of Lebanon, PA and Beverly Copenhaver and husband, Ronald, of Jonestown, PA; a brother, Gene Gundrum and wife, Pat, of DuBoise, PA; a sister-in-law, Violet Sonon, of Lebanon, PA; twelve grandchildren, Sarah Hass, Michael Hass, Jason Hass, Tony Hartsoe, Wendy Hart, Thomas Field, Tammy Hilliard, Douglas Field, Tina Gebhart, Ronald Copenhaver, Jason Copenhaver and Randy Shambers; twenty-two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.
