Mr. Ellsworth William Holt, Jr., age 62, of Todd passed away Thursday afternoon, October 9, 2008 at Watauga Medical Center. A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 13, 2008 at 12:00 Noon at the Baldwin Community Church with Pastor Doug Hardin officiating. Mr. Holt was born in Lake Wall, New Jersey, on October 7, 1946 to the late Ellsworth William Holt, Sr. and Ruth Ella Bellie Holt. Ellsworth was an easy going person and had a heart of gold. He not only cared for his family, but he cared for many other people that he met in his life as well. He also had a special love for animals. He is survived by his wife, Kathryn James Holt; one son, Jack Ellsworth Holt of Todd; three daughters, May Ellen Rositto of Greeley, PA, Ruth Ann Ellifsen of Dunn, NC, Kathryn Price of Port Jervis, NY; two sisters, Arlene Sechmiedhauser of Andover, NJ, Elizabeth Ebert of Vesper, VA; thirteen grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, two nieces and one nephew.
