Mrs. Zelma Osborne Miller age 84, of West Jefferson, passed away Tuesday morning, March 30, 2010 at Ashe Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 2, 2010 at 11:00 am at the West Jefferson United Methodist Church with Rev. Kirk McNeill officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 1, 2010 from 7:00-9:00pm at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Miller was born in Ashe County to the late Caleb Ennis and Matilda Diana Roark Osborne. She was a Homemaker. She is survived by three sons, Dick Miller and wife, Barbara, of West Jefferson, Jimmy Miller and wife, Debbie, of Jefferson and Dr. Johnny Miller and wife, Judy, of Pine Hurst; a daughter, Dianna Cope and husband, Ronnie, of West Jefferson; a sister, Helen Miller, of Jefferson; six grandchildren, four great grandchildren; several nieces & nephews also survive.
