Obituary of Della Ada Wilcox
Mrs. Della Ada Osborne Wilcox, age 90, of West Jefferson passed away Thursday morning at North Carolina Baptist Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 17th, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Midway Baptist Church with Rev. Steve LeaShomb officiating. Burial will follow at the Ashelawn Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends Saturday at 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM, at Midway Baptist church.
Mrs. Wilcox is survived by:
2 sons Hershell Pennington of Mebane, NC
Kyle Wilcox of Blowing Rock, NC
2 daughters Joann Greer of West Jefferson
Sharon Eldreth of West Jefferson
2 brothers Wilmer Osborne of Creston
Raymond Osborne of Beckley, WV
1 sister Margaret McCloud of Creston
10 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Midway Baptist Church 1670 Mount Jefferson Rd, West Jefferson, NC 28694.
The family will meet at the home of Mrs. Della Wilcox, 313 Brook Lane, West Jefferson, NC 28694.
