Shelby Jean Wolfe, age 67, quietly answered the call of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at her home. Funeral services held on Sunday, October 19, 2008 at 2pm at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Douglas Callahan and Rev. James Perkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Coxs Grobe Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00pm on Saturday, October 18, 2008 at Boone Family Funeral Home. Shelby was born on Thursday, May 1, 1941 in Crumpler, NC to the late Winfred Wolfe and Rosa Lee Hamilton She joined Coxs Grove Baptist Church at an early age and she remained a faithful member until death. She was a dedicated employee of Tyson Foods for 43 years. Three brothers preceded her in death. She leaves to mourn her loss, two sisters, Christine Wolfe and Eloise Poe, of Jefferson and two brothers, Winfred Wolfe, of Jefferson and RC Wolfe of Greensboro, NC and a host of nieces and nephews.
