I always enjoyed visiting with Lawrence when I would come by to see Dad (Walter "Scotty" Sturgill). Lawrence loved talking to people and he was always so full of energy. He made me smile and I needed to smile because it was hard for me to see dad slipping away. He passed away on April 22nd 2 years ago from Alzheimers.Dad and Lawrence were roommates. After Dad passed away, I visited Margate a few times to see old friends. It was hard going back, but when I did go, I always stopped by to see Lawrence. He was a blessing to me as was his family, and I know Dad will be happy to welcome him home. My family and I love you Lawrence and are not saying good-bye, just until we meet again.
