Naomi Houg Bare, age 62, of Millers Creek, passed away Saturday, July 24, 2010 at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital in Elkin. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at 2:00pm at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Miller officiating. The family will receive friends from 100-200pm on Wednesday, one hour prior to the funeral service. Mrs. Bare was born in West Virginia on Saturday, September 20, 1947 to the late Walter and Dorothy Gullet Houg. Mrs. Bare is survived by her husband, Marion Al Bare, of Millers Creek; a son, Craig Bare and wife Misti, of Anchorage, Alaska; a daughter Amanda Burgess, of Millers Creek; a brother, Johnny Houg, of Cynthiana, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Erica Mongold, Maranda Burgess, Kasey Burgess, Christopher Bare, Nathaniel Bare; several nieces and nephews also survive.
