My deepest sympathy to Nell and the children. My elementary school memories are wonderful because I had Mr. Baldwin in both the seventh and eighth grades. I was then fortunate enough that we lived in the same community for some time so I would run into him at the store and here and there. He was a wonderful man. Please know you will be in my prayers. Nell, I am so sorry to hear of Mr.Baldwins death. I know he suffered for a long time as you and I talked when my Mother was in the hospital. You have had a lot. I have happy fw school memories b/c of him. I too had him for 7th and 8th grades. Learned so much about History from him and writing research papers! I always felt thankful to have had him as a teacher and principal. God Bless you all. pam

I was very sorry to hear about Mr. Baldwin's passing. I didn't hear about it until after the services. He was a great teacher! I really enjoyed being in his class. I have many fond memories of times in his class learning history and hearing his war stories. You are all in my prayers! God Bless you all.

Nell,Billy and all of your family. Mother and I were so saddened to hear of Tom's passing. I have many fond memories of the early years, and then later as you graciously allowed me to view your treasures and we had some nice times. We are thinking of you often and would love to hear from you when you feel better able to cope. I live in Statesville now with Mother.
