Virginia Rosetta Salmons, age 69, of Jefferson, died Thursday, September 16, 2010 at Margate Health and Rehab in Jefferson. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at Calvary Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Shepherd, Rev. Dan Hess, and Rev. Jim Francis officiating. The family will receive friends at 1:00 P.M until 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at Calvary Freewill Baptist Church prior to the memorial service. Ms. Salmons is survived by a son, Phillip Tucker of Lansing; a daughter, Sheila Tucker of Lansing; a brother, Carlton Salmons of Asheboro; two sisters,Nancy Eldreth of Abingdon, VA, Patty Salmons of Greensboro; three granddaughters, Chelsea Craine, Chloe Craine, Kirby Rucker; two grandsons, Codie Tucker, Tobie Tucker; several nieces and nephews also survive.
