Jack C. Treadway, age 57, of Jefferson, died Sunday evening, October 3, 2010 at the Watauga Medical Center in Boone. A private graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2010 at 2:00pm at Potter-Main Cemetery. Mr. Treadway is survived by his wife, Frankie Treadway of Jefferson; a son, Jack Lee Treadway of the home; two daughters, Stephanie Cheek and husband Wesley of North Wilkesboro, Tookie Shaw and husband Jason of Fleetwood; a brother, Clifford Treadway and wife Sue of Creston; a sister, Lois Grogan and husband Thomas of Lenoir; five grandchildren, Kylee Cheek, Gavin Cheek, Weston Cheek, Daniel Shaw, Courtney Shaw, and several nieces and nephews.
