Mrs. Beulah South Miller, age 93, of West Jefferson passed away Tuesday evening, October 5, 2010 at Margate Health & Rehab Center. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 8, 2010 at 11:00am at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Floyd South officiating. Burial will follow in the Riverview Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00pm on Thursday, October 7, 2010 at Boone Family Funeral Home. Mrs. Miller was born in Wilkes County on Monday, June 18, 1917 to the late David and Amanda Susan Lunsford South. She was a Homemaker. She is also preceded in death by her husband, John Council Miller of July 7, 1994. Mrs. Miller is survived by two sons, David Edwin Miller, of Pasadena, MD and John Alexander Miller, of Piney Creek, NC; a daughter, Helen Louise Jenkins of Glen Burnie, MD; six grandchildren Robert Jenkins, Todd Jenkins, Elizabeth Sizemore, Amanda Coldiron, Jasmine Miller and Melinda Miller; seven great-grandchildren; two great, great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.
