Elder Curtis Jones, age 81, of Crumpler, died Saturday morning at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 2pm at Mt. Pleasant Chapel Church with Rev. Bobby Jones, Rev. Randall Greene, Rev. Joey McClure and Elder Rhonda Rash officiating. Burial will follow in the Brown-Fowler Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30-8:30pm on Tuesday at Boone Family Funeral Home. Elder Jones is survived by: 1 son Robert Jones of Crumpler 2 daughters Mava Hodgson of Crumpler Viona Lewis of West Jefferson 1 Sister Pearl Killen of Marion, VA 8 grandchildren; 8 Great-Grandchildren; 1 step granddaughter; 3 step great grandchildren; several cousins, nieces and nephews.
