Mrs. Katherine Ajello Smith, age 92, of Fleetwood, passed away Saturday morning at Margate Health & Rehab Center. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Mrs. Smith was born in Staten Island, NY on Friday, July 12, 1918 to the late Vincent J. and Salvina Ventrudo Ajello. She was a Homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Smith. Mrs. Smith is survived by a son, William (Bill) Smith and wife, Debbie, of West Jefferson; a daughter, Grace Burke and husband, John, of Fleetwood; a sister, Lenore Podraza, of Basking Ridge, NJ; two grandsons William Tracy Smith, of Tucson, Arizona and John Burke, III, of Tampa, Florida; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.
